Welcome to my science page :) I graduated from Harvard in 2018 with a B.A. in Astrophysics and Math -- meaning, I learned a lot of wonderful things about subjects such as cosmology, topology, quantum mechanics, abstract algebra, and dynamical systems.

For my Ph.D thesis (advised by Romain Teyssier) I’m developing new sub-grid models for high-redshift active galactic nuclei, to be implemented in isolated galaxy & cosmological formation simulations.

Look around this site to explore some projects of mine, which include
☼ novel subgrid MHD star formation models for cosmological galaxy formation simulations (advised by Romain Teyssier)
☼ characterizing and developing theoretical models for the radio emission of the MASSIVE survey galaxies (advised by Jenny Greene, Kristina Nyland, & Eliot Quataert)
☼ and more! \(˘◡˘)/

As always, I'm happy to answer questions about my science work and can be reached at egirma [at] princeton.edu ~
